1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use toratechai.com, create a Toratech account, or book or take our training. By doing any of these you accept them. If you book training for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to do so on its behalf.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
2. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
3. Live training
You send a booking request with the package and schedule you want. A booking is confirmed when we agree the dates with you and send the Google Meet link.
The fee is the one we confirm with you before the first session. You pay for the hours of the session, however many people from your team join the same call. The first week is paid in advance by Telebirr or bank transfer; each following week is paid as it is held.
To move or cancel a session, tell us as early as you can. We will agree a new time with you, or, for sessions you have paid for and not received, a credit or a refund.
4. Self-paced courses
Self-paced courses are bought one course at a time, at the price shown before you pay. Your access starts once we have confirmed your payment. If we later stop offering a course to new learners, you keep access to the course you paid for.
5. Certificates
A certificate is awarded when you complete the course requirements, which are based on measured work, not attendance. Each certificate carries its own serial number. We may withdraw a certificate obtained by cheating or by submitting someone else's work as your own.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share your account or the course materials with people who have not enrolled;
- record, copy or redistribute live sessions, recordings or course materials without our written permission;
- upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you do not have the right to share;
- interfere with the site or try to reach accounts or information that are not yours;
- misuse other participants' information.
7. Content and ownership
The course materials, session recordings and site content belong to Toratech or the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own learning.
The work you submit stays yours. You allow us to store, review and give feedback on it so we can deliver your training.
8. AI tools
Our training teaches the use of AI tools. Their output can be wrong, incomplete or biased. You remain responsible for checking it and for how you use AI in your own work.
9. Changes to the service
We may change, pause or retire parts of the site or our courses. Paid access to a self-paced course continues as described above.
10. Liability
We provide the site and training with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. We will first try to settle any dispute with you directly; if that fails, the courts of Addis Ababa decide it.
13. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
